Skies: darkening; Winds: 50mph on the coast, 25mph here; Rain: light

There are more people here in the med school building than I thought. Physicians have brought their families and there are several dogs, cats, and birds. Children are running around and playing in the halls. The atmosphere is light, but everyone knows what is coming and you can sense the worry in their souls.

We're sitting here in Lansing, MI worried about New Orleans. It's the Most Holy of the 5 Holy Musical Places. (The others are Detroit, Memphis, Chicago, St. Louis and Philly) Wouldn't the storm just go away if you all went out and ate, drank and enjoyed some music?

Too bad some think the comments section is for their ads. Greed-motivated, no doubt. BUT I am glad to hear you are safe and will be able totell us what it's like to be in the middle of a big hurricane. Please post and tell us if you think your mice sense a change in the weather.
